• Proper bait, i.e. a juicy worm and not a piece of dry bread.
• You need to find a good spot, i.e. you won’t catch many fish in your back pond.
• I’m told you’ve got to go very early, i.e. 3 or 4 am, It sounds like fish get up very early.
• You need a lot of patience.
And not forgetting the skill involved in throwing out the fishing line and reeling in the fish once it’s caught. All in all it takes a lot to catch one dumb fish. How much will it take to catch a human being, assuming humans are a lot smarter than fish? The Lord spoke to me these words one day as I was out prayer walking, trying to shake off some of the excess pounds I’d put on over Christmas.
